Sexual relationship at such a young age poses a lot of danger to a teenager and clearly outweighs any of the reasons some students offer for indulging themselves in it.
Some students embrace the lifestyle with a bid to gain some influence, get some money, not feel left out and in some other case to get good grades.

1.Constant Emotional Wreck :
A student who engages in a sexual relationship is prone to heart break as such relationship most times is never based on real love. Once any of the partner sees another guy or girl who is better than their sex mate, they are easily attracted to the new catch leaving the other partner in a depleted emotional state.2.Mismanagement Of Resources
Sexual relationship requires a lot of time and money to keep it running smoothly. The partners attend parties and flirt around during school hours and in most cases use the money meant for their education to take care of the other person.
Time and energy that would have yielded more when invested in somethings more meaningful is allowed to whirl away.
3.Risk Of Contacting STDs
Sexually transmitted diseases are easily contacted in a sexual relationship because it involves a lot of kissing, sex and unwholesome romance with the partner. Most students find it difficult to go for medical checkup and therefore in a case where a disease is contacted, it is evenly shared by the sex mates. If a separation occurs, then the next mate will likely be a recipient of the disease. The trend goes on and on.
4.Lack Of Concentration During Classes
When there is much happiness or sadness, concentration is difficult. Students who are sexually engaged experience moments of happiness and sadness as well. When things seem to be going right, the partners continue to stare at each other when classes are on and spend the whole time thinking of the other person or perhaps the next sex session. When things get bad, the partners also can't concentrate as a troubled mind is less disposed to learn.
5.Unfulfilled Educational Goals And Dreams
Several scholars have seen their educational aspirations being dealt a huge blow as a result of involvement in premarital sex. Potentials are left to die without being fulfilled.
Most times,the female partner gets pregnant and both will be forced to stop schooling and take care of their baby. The male will have to work to feed the new mother and baby,leaving him little or no chance to continue with education
The aforementioned problems then clearly explains that sexual relationship was at no point made for a scholar and most unlikely one who wishes to excel. It obscures even the real purpose of studentship.
