Breaking! Over 60,000 Students to Re-Write 2017 Jamb

Jamb CBT Exam In Progress
Jamb registrar ,Ishaq Oloyede confirmed after a board meeting on Wednesday, that 62,140 candidates who had sat for the annual examination will have their results annulled, while a date 1st July 2017 has been set for a rewrite.

The number of students involved is made up of 57,646 candidates engaged in centres induced malpractice, 683 candidates for biometric challenges and 3,811 for late registration. Accrued results of these candidates has therefore been cancelled.

Mr Ishaq stated that due consideration had to be given to innocent students whose centres were involved in mass malpractice and also those who encountered unresolved issues with their servers when the exam exercise was in progress.

Further decisions by the examination body is a ban on 48 centres from conducting future jamb examinations, as a result of dubious extortion from candidates and organized exam malpractice.

24 other centres had the mercy of receiving only a suspension from next year's exam for not meeting expectations required of an approved Jamb centre.

Meanwhile, candidates to rewrite their exams will be duly notified via email, and may be demanded to reprint their JAMB Exam Slip in due time. Here's the result of the supplementary exams
