In a bid to improve the relationship between teachers and students, we are pleased to launch
'Innovative Future Teacher-Student Team Initiative ' a special survey feature on our blog which will include interviews with teachers and students from different schools across the country.
Since students are now spending more hours at school than at home with their parents, what goes on around the school (the child's second home), with their teachers (second parents) deservedly comes under the spotlight.
More so, when a student becomes successful, the teacher receives the accolade. When things go wrong, the teachers are apportioned blame.
A mutual student-teacher relationship creates a fantastic teaching and learning experience for both parties.
In this feature which will run until 20th January 2018, we get to know exactly what teachers expect of their students and steps they take to ensure they are approachable.
They would also share insights on how this affects the learning experience.
The second feature will share the thoughts of students on what attributes their favorite teacher possesses and what would make a great classroom experience.
We hope the insights provided by featured students and teachers would represent the thoughts of the general student and teacher community nationwide and create a great schooling experience for everyone.
Students to take part in this survey will be randomly selected from the Innovative Students Facebook group while teachers who are interested in being a part of this survey are to send their contact details which must contain
