2017 Tertiary Admission To End On 25th January - JAMB

Jamb 2018
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board have directed that all tertiary institutions end admission of new students on 25th January 2018.

This information was disclosed by JAMB's Head of Media, Mr. Fabian Benjamin on Thursday in an interview with NAN (News Agency of Nigeria).

This decision was reached after a meeting where all issues and ones bordering on the admission process were taken into consideration

Mr. Benjamin explained that the deadline was to enable the board stay on track, with the academic schedule as earlier announced.

“By implication, candidates who have gained admissions into various institutions and are yet to register or do not have admissions by January 25 should begin to make preparations for the 2018 UTME.

Speaking of wide speculation that UTME results will be valid for 3 years, Mr. Benjamin said,

“The public must also note that the UTME results are valid for only one year and not three years as widely speculated.

“If changes are made to the validity, I assure you the board would communicate appropriately to the public".

2018 Jamb CBT registration will end on 6 February and here's a simple guide to Jamb CBT.
