This Is How We Want JAMB To Be

Following a successful exercise in the 2018 Jamb UTME Mock test, the board's Registrar Ishaq Oloyede expressed satisfaction at the conduct of candidates who took part in the exercise, as well as the officials.

211,000 candidates out of 275,000 candidates who indicated interest to participate in the exercise during the registration showed up at their respective centers.

JAMB Registrar, Ishaq Oloyede monitored the exams in some CBT centers in Abuja and environs and afterward said that he was impressed with the report from state offices within the federation, which was an indication that the exercise went as smoothly as planned.

Speaking further, he said

'Similarly, books or any other reading/writing material, cameras, recorders, microphones, earpiece, ink/pen readers, smart lenses, smart rings/jewelry, smart buttons, and Bluetooth devices would not be allowed into the centers'.

In conclusion, he encouraged government-owned and private CBT centers to make final preparations for the main exercise which begins on March 9, 2018.

Jamb Mock UTME was introduced in 2017 with the bid to enable prospective candidates to get acquainted with the Computer Based Test (CBT). This according to JAMB will neutralize possible fear and anxiety in the main exercise which comes up shortly after.

Innovative Future had earlier reported a list of items banned by JAMB (Joint Admission and Matriculation Board) for the exams and also recommend that prospective candidates read this simple guide to Jamb CBT.
