3.Fees

Quality education comes at a huge price in Nigeria. So you must find out which university offers the best value of education for the amount your parents or sponsors can afford.

Private owned universities spend more money on fees than government owned universities.

Since education has not been made less expensive for the middle class populace which represents the majority , a place in the government owned universities is a better bet.

This is not discouraging enrollment with a private university though.

4.Morality

You might be wondering if this is still obtainable anywhere in the world.

The truth must be told that it is becoming increasingly difficult to get a morally sound school environment.
This, however doesn't mean you should settle for just any university.

In fact, there are universities with more cult/gang , rape and examination malpractice cases than the others. So, you'll be doing more harm to yourself by enrolling into any of these institutions.

Surfing local newspapers and trending events online is a good way to find out which Nigerian University has low cases of social vices.

5.Location

Political instability ,terrorist attacks and agitations in various states in Nigeria means you must pay close attention to anywhere you wish to settle down for university education.

Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State Nigeria had witnessed several cases of Boko haram attacks, most notably the famous abduction of some Chibok school girls in 2014.

Note, that a suitable university should guarantee a serene environment, not only in the university premises but also within the state or locality where it is situated.
