Emeka's Story - How Dangerous Cultism Is (Episode 2)

At school the next day, Emeka summoned up the needed courage and walked up to Ete. 


'I saw you at that raid yesterday and I'm here to get my father's  ..'

A wicked slap had landed on his right cheek before he could complete his speech. 

Ete pushed and asked him to leave his sight at once. 

Emeka hurried out of the classroom ,got a piece wood and rushed back to attack Ete. 
A fight ensued and even before some real blows had been exchanged, they found themselves in the Principal's office. 

The principal who knew that Ete was a bad boy, could do nothing but free him. 

Who wants to be attacked? 

Emeka on the other hand was beaten with 12 strokes of the cane. 

He cried excruciatingly as the strokes landed his buttocks. He was only seeking for justice and this is what he gets.

As he left the principals office, Emeka believed there was only one way to get justice for what Ete had done to him. 

Why You Should Not Join Cults

'I would join a cult, more powerful than where Ete belongs. That way, I can pay him back with his own coin', he muttered to himself.

Just immediately, the words of his father recurred,

'Do not make any rash decisions because of what has happened today. Justice will prevail'.

'I have been patient and won't continue to be, till I get my head chopped off by these guys'. 

Emeka met with Abit who has been on pressurizing him to join his own cult group. 
Emeka helps Abit with his exams and for the first time since they cut across each other, it was Emeka who had to demand something from Abit. 

'I am ready to join the 'Black cats' - Emeka spoke softly into his ears.

They made sure of providing everything Kelvin would need for his birthday and he invited all his friends over.

That evening Ted lied to his parents that he was going to collect his notebook from a friend leaving nearby.

Unbeknownst to Ted, his new gang guys had set up Laura to lure him to have sex with her.

Everywhere was already buzzing when Ted stepped into Kelvin's home. Loud music was accompanied by cheers of his classmates. He had never seen them this wild!. He calmly walked up to his friends who were sitted in front of a table filled with lots of beer.

First, they had some bottles of beer which they have become accustomed to. Ted requested for a soft drink instead, but after some taunting remarks, he agreed to take a bottle of beer. They were already on three bottles then, and urged him to take more. Before he finished the second bottle, Ted was intoxicated. He could barely say words audibly with his senses already switched off.

Having approached Ted at his weakest point,Laura succeeded in luring him to bed.

Ted felt so devastated when he woke up at midnight to discover a girl lying beside him.

' What have I done? ' he screamed. Laura woke up, said nothing and quietly left the room.

Ted left the room in sheer despair and walked home. Their home was only a few minutes away, but in this instance, it seemed to be the longest journey he has had to make.

Now he has lost his virginity which he has preserved for a long time now. That however was only a tip of an iceberg .At this point, He didn't realise what grave mistake he has committed.

When To Say 'NO' To A Friendship (Ted's Story) Episode 1

It was a rainy Monday morning and like every other school day,
Ted had gotten up very early to prepare for school.

Instead of the warm smile that is seen on his face every morning, he was looking dejected. A thought had been lingering on his mind throughout the weekend and it seemed he had to make a decision faster ,now that he was about to face his opponents (friends).


They used to be very close friends since childhood but he really could no longer explain  their actions since they turned teenagers. John and Chris had experienced a dip in morals.

It all began with skipping classes, next they joined a bad gang, started smoking and gambling with the most  worrisome to Ted being that they have started having sex.

Since they had been close friends, Ted never wanted to do anything to hurt them. Thus, he didn't inform their parents or even his own parents about the change in their habits. He has even helped them cover up their crimes with his trickery and lies on some occasions. That wasn't his problem now, anyway as he has gotten accustomed to doing that.

John and Chris has been mounting increased pressure on him to join their gang. Ted had already started missing classes ,but to them that was merely a preamble.
Before Ted left for home on Friday, they had firmly told him to either join them or stop being their friend.

They wanted a response and Ted promised to give them an answer on Monday.

Ted didn't want to lose his childhood friends neither did he want to give in to their unhealthy pressure to join them in what he knew was a wrong course. That was the thought he was battling with that morning till he stepped into the school gate.

Ted had barely gotten into the classroom when they came up to him.
'So what's your answer Ted?' they asked with eyes firmly fixed in his eyeballs.
The pressure got to him and Ted made a decision he would come to regret in the long run.

'I will join your gang guys' Ted muttered.
They embraced him and made fake promises to always stand by his side.

Ted never knew he was signing his downfall.
Series of events that unfolded within a year only affirmed he had made the wrong choice.

For a start, they hooked him up with a very beautiful girl in class ,Laura. Laura was a brilliant girl but just like Ted, her friends has succeeded in ruining her moral life. She has had an affair with half of the boys in the class and Ted was next.

It was at a classmate's birthday party that Ted's life was properly ruined.
